 Tournaments in K-3 sections

Details - The JTP Program is a USCF program which allows players participating in k-3 sections of scholastic tournaments or

k-12 students playing in club only tournaments to participate without paying for a USCF membership.  In order to play as JTP players,  children must still register with the USCF.  Players will do this by filling out a FORM and giving it to their school chess coach who will forward it on to a USCF affiliate to be entered along with USCF memberships.  When filling out the online membership, the affiliate will select the JTP membership option which has no cost associated with it.  The USCF will provide a USCF number which will be used just like a membership number for all tournaments allowing JTP players to play.  This will allow any player to play in tournaments without joining the USCF for the $17 membership fee.  Players will still be required to pay Tournament Entry Fees.
